Build an evidence index, not a badge wall
Certificates should be reviewed with the legal entity, issuing body, scope, site, standard, issue date and expiry. A logo copied onto a sales page does not prove it applies to the product or production site in your order.
Match the documents to the SKU
The buyer should be able to connect formula, specification, ingredients, analytical values, artwork, lot coding and test results to the same SKU and revision.
- Approved formula or product specification revision
- Ingredient and additive declaration basis
- Guaranteed analysis or analytical constituents
- Nutritional adequacy substantiation, where claimed
- Microbiological and contaminant test scope
- Packaging material and fill-weight specification
- Label checklist for the destination market
- Lot coding, traceability and release record
- Export or establishment documents required by the destination
Claims need their own file
Terms such as complete and balanced, natural, organic, high protein, low magnesium, human-grade, hypoallergenic or disease-related benefits can trigger specific definitions, evidence or enforcement risk. Treat each claim as a separate approval item rather than creative copy.
